Making it big in the fashion industry might not be as easy as it seems in Lauren Conrad's life but thank the fashion gods that there's time to get familiar and pay your dues of getting everyone's Starbucks coffee orders right... speaking from experience it isn't the easiest step, but this is where you learn all the good stuff. As for where to look for your dream internship... here are the top ones on Blogture's list this month!

1. Company: Seventeen Magazine
    Position: Photo Intern
    Unpaid Position
    Location: NYC
    Details:  Interns for the Summer 2011 semester to assist the Photography Director, Photo Editor, and Photo Assistant in tasks ranging from prop styling to photo shoot production to photo research.Eligible candidates must be available to work 2-to-3 full days a week (or full time) and able to receive credit from their university. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

2. Company: Self Magazine
    Position: Fashion Intern
    Location: NYC
     Details: Self Magazine is seeking detail-oriented, hard-working fashion interns for the summer 2011 semester. Candidates must be undergraduate students of accredited universities who can show proof that he/she will receive credit. Interns are responsible for keeping an accurate inventory of all samples coming into the closet, returning loaned items promptly and assisting the fashion team – including editors and directors. Fashion experience is a plus, but not necessary. This is a great way for someone seeking a future in fashion to get his/her foot in the door at a successful, busy magazine. Interest in fashion is a must. Interns will receive a $12/day stipend for a maximum of 49 internship days. Candidates must be able to work at least three days a week.

    Position: Fashion Intern
    Location: NYC

The O, Oprah Magazine Fashion Department is seeking interns for the upcoming Summer of 2011. Interns must be able to work full time 4-5 days a week, starting mid May.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining organization within the Fashion Closet
* Checking in and returning all samples for photo shoots
* Organizing and filing lookbooks for Editors of the department
* Assisting on photo shoots as deemed necessary by the department
* Complete any and all other administrative tasks requested by the department
